Family Newsletter

June 7, 2026
Dear Momauguin Families,

What an exciting and memorable week we have had at school!

Our Field Day was a tremendous success! Students enjoyed a day filled with fun, teamwork, laughter, and adventurous activities. From the smiles on their faces to the energy they brought to every event, it was clear that everyone had a wonderful time. By the end of the day, students and staff were certainly tired, a sure sign of a day well spent! A special thank you to the Momauguin School PTO for sponsoring this event! Also thank you to Mr. Parisi and all the staff for organizing the day!

Grade 2 students also enjoyed our first Beach Field Trip, which was both wet and wonderful! Students had a fantastic experience learning, exploring, and making memories with their classmates. Several grade levels will be heading to the beach this coming week, and we look forward to more exciting adventures.

This past week we held an ORCA Scholar Recognition Assembly. It was truly heartwarming to see students recognized for their hard work, character, and accomplishments. Watching students beam with pride and witnessing the genuine applause and encouragement from their peers was a powerful reminder of the caring and supportive community we have built together.

As we begin the final full week of the 2025–2026 school year, we encourage students to continue putting forth their best effort each day. Maintaining routines, getting a good night's sleep, and arriving at school ready to learn will help students finish the year successfully and positively. Next Monday, June 15th will be the last full day, with Tuesday through Thursday (June 16-18) early release days with a 1:15 dismissal.

Thank you for your continued partnership, support, and commitment to our school community. We look forward to celebrating many more special moments together during these final days of the school year.
Have a wonderful week!

In partnership,
Julie Oca Church
Principal

The June 10th PTO Meeting has be cancelled.

Attention Grade 4 Families:
We are looking for parent volunteers to help decorate and set up for the 5th Grade Stepping Up Ceremony on Thursday, June 18th from 8:30–10:00 a.m. The ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.

This year, we would love for the families of next year’s Grade 5 students to help support our current Grade 5 families by assisting with preparations for this special event. Our hope is to begin a wonderful new tradition where each incoming Grade 5 class helps prepare the celebration for the class ahead of them. In turn, when your child is a 5th grader, families will do the same for you!

If you are available and would like to be part of this special tradition, please email:

Thank you for your support and partnership in helping make this a memorable celebration for our students!
